Congratulations! The Logan Historic District nomination was moved forward by the Ohio Historic Preservation Advisory Council yesterday. Next and final approval will come from the National Park Service. The team of Logan volunteers were thanked publicly yesterday by our professional guides, Judy Williams and Nathalie Wright. The Advisory Council presented some interesting comments and challenging questions. Athens architect David Reiser spoke in support of the motion for the nomination to move forward. He recognized Logan's "persistent commitment to preserve its urban fabric". Thanks to Bob Wasson for keeping this project organized and on track.

Anything and everything that can be done should be. What can we do to get the townspeople interested in being downtown. It always seems like it us outsiders that want the downtown to prosper.
